The Silfra fissure is one of Iceland’s best kept secrets. Situated in the heart of Thingvellir National Park, the site of the world’s oldest parliament, this submerged canyon offers a wonderful snorkelling experience.
The crystal clear water in the deep fissure gives you a feeling of being weightless as you float down with the lazy current. Frequently rated as one of the world’s top 10 dive sites, the Silfra offers up to 100 meters of underwater visibility and is located on top of the separation between Europe and America!
Approximately 40 minutes is spent in the water.
Duration: 3 hours
Price from: £125 per adult
Please note that all participants must read and sign a ‘Snorkeling Silfra Medical Statement’ and if necessary provide a doctors clearance note. Maximum age and weight restrictions apply.
