Introduction

Experience both Maori heritage and culture as well as witness the incredible geothermal activity for which Rotorua is famed.

You will enjoy a 90 minute guided tour of the geothermal area at Te Puia where you will see the famous Pohutu Geyser and the bubbling mud pools. Your guide will take you to Te Puia’s kiwi house where if you are lucky you will spot one of New Zealand’s most iconic nocturnal flightless birds – the kiwi.

Visit the traditional Maori carving and weaving schools where you will witness these ancient disciplines in practice before enjoying a cultural concert.
