The Icebergs of Sermermiut

Introduction

Travelling by bus, this tour will take visitors to the end of the road, literally.

From here, you will get out and take an easy hike to the fertile Sermermiut valley, where traces of four different old Inuit cultures can still be seen.

A lush valley rich with plant and animal life, Sermermiut is settled next to Ice Fjord itsef, world-famous for the tremendous icebergs that can be found here. Blending the incredible flora of the northern tundra with the spectacular shapes of the land’s icebergs, this is a tour that blends colour and beauty into one remarkable natural experience.
