Just 30 minutes from Auckland’s city centre, the Waitakere Ranges are a world away, a place where mighty kauri trees, giant ferns and native New Zealand bush are in abundance. Travel high into the ranges and enjoy breath-taking panoramic views out to sea before visiting the traditional Maori Carvings found there. Explore the lush rainforest with your guide as you walk along the abundant bush tracks before heading down to the beach to sink your feet into the iconic black sand of Piha.
