Costa Rica Accommodation

Our Costa Rica accommodation is varied, depending on your itinerary and which part of the country you visit. All of the accommodation is clean and comfortable but can be basic. Although students used to creature comforts in the UK might find this a little daunting at first we find that, once accustomed, they generally enjoy the experience.

In more developed areas such as cities and popular tourist hotspots destinations, accommodation is based on 3* hotels with private facilities, and typically 2-3 students per room.

In more remote areas such as the biological field stations, accommodation is provided in cabinas with shared facilities. The cabinas accommodate 4 students and feature bunk beds. Electricity is provided via generators or solar power and is therefore usually switched off at around 9-10pm until the following morning.

The rainforest camp is very basic, with two students per tent sleeping on mattresses and shared facilities. There is no electricity in the rainforest camp.

All accommodations offer breakfast on-site and have communal space for your group to gather.
