Surtsey Eruption
This case study explores the famous Surtsey eruption and provides an understanding of why this eruption was so significant. The case study details the events leading up to the event, the eruption itself and the changes of the landscape after. This is perfect for KS3 and above, and includes ‘do now’ activities plus assessment mats. This case study is not tied to any particular exam board, but provides support for the following study topics
