A stunning property full of contemporary flair, Hotel Husafell nestles in the magnificent landscape of Borgarfjordur, about 90 minutes’ drive northeast of Reykjavik. Each of the hotel’s 39 standard rooms has en-suite bathrooms and stylish furnishings, including paintings by local artist Pall Gudmundsson. An additional seven larger deluxe rooms have access to a terrace, with spectacular mountain views. The hotel also offers a complimentary welcome drink exclusive to Discover the World guests.

The hotel uses 100% pure energy including spring-fed hydroelectricity and geothermal heating. Natural hot water from nearby mountains is also used to heat the hotel’s fabulous outdoor spa – a mosaic of geothermal baths and hot tubs (currently closed, undergoing renovation).
