Introduction

In a beautiful wilderness location in Finnish Lapland, on the shores of Lake Inari, the hotel has a warm atmosphere and offers hotel rooms, apartments, traditional log cabins and log suites. It has been lovingly restored and developed into a fantastic resort catering superbly for couples, friends and families for a authentic winter break.

There is a main building housing the cosy lounge area, restaurant, bar and sauna, which have been hand crafted by the owners Jouko and Mari, and together with their staff  they provide a friendly and personal service. They offer inclusive packages with accommodation, full board and different activities throughout the winter season and available for 3, 4 and 7 night durations. Many of the room types have their own private sauna, and there is one located in the main building for guests to use. Private 1 hour sessions can be booked at the Reception.

Rooms and Arctic Suites

The different accommodation includes the following options:

Wilderness Rooms: (capacity 1-3 people) rooms are furnished in modern Lappish style and have either twin or double bed. Some rooms can take an extra bed for children.

Arctic Suites: (capacity 2-5 people) these vary in size from Studio to 2 bedrooms, some with a sofa bed for additional beds and are more suited for families. The larger 2 bedroom apartments have their own sauna.  The apartment building is around 50 metres from the main building.

Suite 205 has a living area with sofa, single bed, sleeping alcove with double bed and storage space. This suite sleeps 3 people.

Suite 201 has three single beds, kitchenette, and dining area. This suite sleeps 3 people.

Suite 401 is located on the second floor of the Tsarmi building, approximately 50m from the main building. This suite has a kitchenette, living area with twin beds, a separate bedroom also with twin beds and a bathroom with shower. This suite sleeps 4 people.

Arctic Suite 301 is a large studio apartment with double bed, built-in bunk bed, kitchen, toilet and bathroom. This apartment is for 2 adults and 2 children.

Arctic Suite 302 has two separate bedrooms; one with two single beds and one with double bed. It has a kitchen, dining area, living room, separate toilet and bathroom with sauna. This apartment is for 4 people.

Arctic Suite 303 has two separate bedrooms; one with three single beds and one with double bed. This apartment also has a kitchenette, dining area, living space, separate toilet and bathroom with sauna. This apartment is for 4-5 people.

Cabins

Cabins Lusma and Nuora: (capacity 2-4 people) these two independent cabins are located around 150m from the main building and are furnished in a modern style with one bedroom with double bed and a further pull-out bed suitable for 2 children or 1 adult. Other facilities include kitchenette, flat screen television, fireplace, sauna and bathroom. They are just a few metres apart and ideal for 2 small families or couple travelling together who wish to have a little privacy.

Log Cabins: (capacity 2-4 people) just 100m from the main building, they are modern and stylish inside with double bed, sitting area, kitchen, fireplace, sauna and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs there is a small area which has 2 additional small beds more suitable for younger children. However, please note the stairs do not have a stair gate.

Log Cabin Suites: (capacity 2-5 people) thesee 16 individual suites are housed in log cabin and are mere 50m away from the main building. They are modern and stylish and downstairs there is a double bed, sitting area and a bathroom with a sauna. Upstairs there is an open loft area which has 2-3 additional single beds suitable for either older children or adults. Please note the stairs do not have a stair gate.

Cabin Peska: (capacity 5-6 people) a large detached log cabin for up to 6 people approximately 60 metres from the main building. Downstairs has a sitting area with log burner, table and chairs, kitchenette, small double bedroom and bathroom with sauna. Stairs lead to a cosy landing space with 2 single beds, more suitable for younger children and a separate bedroom with a further 2 single beds.

Cabin Kasari: (capacity 6 people) approximately 70 metres from the main building Kasari is a very spacious detached log cabin with a large open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen with a central log burner. The ground floor also has a bathroom with sauna and double bedroom. On the first floor are two large bedrooms, one with queen size bed and the other with twin beds and a separate toilet.

Arctic Log Cabin: (capacity 2 people) situated next to an Arctic Lake, all cabins sleep 2 people and have a bathroom with shower.  There is a separate sauna building next to the cabins.

Arctic Nature Cabin: (capacity 2 people) featuring panorama windows to make the most of the view to the arctic nature from the comfort of your bed. All cabins are ensuite and sleep 2 people.  There is a separate sauna building next to the cabins.

Nellim Lake Villa: (capacity 2 people) enjoy the wintery landscape and lake from the panorama windows. The villa sleeps 2 people in a double bed with a bathroom and shower. There is a separate sauna building next to the cabins.

Arctic Lake Villa: (capacity 4 people) situated by the lake a short distance from the main building.  Villas sleep up to 4 people in one double and one twin bedroom and have a kitchenette, living room area and bathroom with sauna.

Aurora Lakeside Villa: (capacity 5-8 people) just five minutes from the hotels main building, this villa has 4 bedrooms including a master bedroom with a double bed and panorama windows and three bedrooms with twin beds. The accommodation also includes a spacious living room with fully equipped kitchenette, private sauna and a large terrace facing the lake.

Aurora Accommodation:

Aurora accommodation is located approximately 140 to 220 metres from the main building

Aurora Cabin: (capacity 2-4 people) perfect for those wanting a chance of aurora viewings from your own bed. They comprise of a double bed, small sofa or chairs and private bathroom.

Aurora Bubble: (capacity 2 people) these specially designed Aurora Bubbles give you an uninterrupted view of the night sky, stars, moon and hopefully the northern lights. The bubble has a double bed and a toilet, but showers and sauna are in the nearby service building. These are more suitable for an overnight experience.

Aurora Premium Cabin: (capacity 2 people) ideal for those who would like to enhance their experience looking out into the star-filled sky and hopefully witnessing the Northern Lights. The glass roof is laser-heated making sure no snow is obstructing the view, the cabin is also equipped with a double bed, a bathroom with shower and a cosy interior fireplace.
