Wilderness Hotel Juutua

Wilderness Hotel Juutua

Introduction

The newest addition to the Wilderness Hotels collection overlooks the Juutua River just outside Inari village, in beautiful Finnish Lapland.

Wilderness Hotel Juutua is a welcoming boutique property offering a choice of guest rooms. The property’s main building houses the cosy Wilderness Rooms, while the premium Arctic Rooms offer a more spacious stay in modern new buildings, just a short walk from reception.

Next to the main building you’ll find the Juutua Suites, ideally situated by the river with north-facing windows – ideal for viewing the aurora borealis. Each Juutua Suite has its own balcony or patio, and is equipped with a private sauna.

A highlight of your stay at Juutua is the chance to experience the award-winning Aanaar Restaurant, where the chefs create unique dishes using locally-sourced produce. Here you can sample the traditional Sami herbal plant angelica, Arctic lichen, reindeer and fish fresh from Lake Inari, combining in menus that tell the story of the northern wilderness through its cuisine.

Wilderness Hotel Juutua also features Koski, housing two traditional Finnish saunas available for private use (additional cost applies). From the sauna, step outside onto the terrace to find your private jacuzzi overlooking the beautiful Juutua River.

A range of activities are also on offer, including husky sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and northern lights viewing. For the full range of excursions and details of our 2, 4 and 6-night packages, please refer to the Juutua Wilderness Adventure holiday page.
