Husky Sledding 12km

Introduction

Get an insight to a musher’s everyday life on this morning husky ride.

After transferring to the dog kennels, where the huskies are eagerly waiting to go out for the day, you will board the sled and your day begins. Full instructions will be given. Rushing between snow-clad trees and over crystalline snow into the heart of Finnish Lapland, the natural silence of this wild north is all pervasive.

The husky journey is approximately 12km depending on conditions, taking about 1 hour in total. En route stop to switch drivers and photo opportunities. Total excursion time is 2.5 hours including the transfers and husky trip.

Price includes winter clothing.
