Introduction

This full day guided tour highlights the very best of Phillip Island’s unusual nature and wildlife.

You will visit the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park – a renowned eco- sanctuary tasked with conserving many of Australia’s most endangered wildlife including the southern bettong and rare fluffy gliders. After a light lunch, your guide will take you to historic Churchill Island – a traditional working farm that was the site of the first European agricultural pursuits in Victoria. Tour the farm before heading to the west of Phillip Island to Seal Rocks – home to more than 16,000 fur seals and one of the largest colonies in Australia.

Just before dusk you will find yourselves in the exclusive viewing area on Summerland Beach to watch Phillip Island’s iconic Penguin Parade. Admire hundreds of little penguins emerge from the ocean and waddle ashore up the beach to nest in their land-based burrows. After viewing this iconic and mesmerising commute you will yourselves re-board the bus and return to Melbourne.
