Sauna Ritual

Introduction

In Swedish Lapland, the sauna is the heart of the home, a place for peacefulness, relaxation and meditation. Learn how to use the sauna like a Scandinavian with the Icehotel’s ten-step sauna ritual, which includes an ice plunge (optional) and thorough cleansing of mind and body.

The following is included in the sauna ritual.

• 10 step Jukkasjärvi sauna ritual
• Sauna host guiding you through the sauna
• Wood-fired outdoor bath
• Ice plunge in the river (winter)/river dip (summer/fall)
• Natural spa products from Swedish Lapland
• Light snacks
• Robe and slippers on loan

You will have exclusive access to the sauna when you book the Sauna Ritual. Over the three hours you will be able master the Scandinavian way to sauna, by spending a short amount of time in the heated sauna before relaxing and cooling down by the fire in the lounge or in the shower, then back in the sauna to warm up!

This is not suitable for people with a heart condition or pregnant women.
