Overview

Watch the beautiful scenery pass you by whilst travelling by train between three of Norway's iconic destinations - Oslo, Flam and Bergen. Each place has its own unique charm and attractions to enjoy and to top it off, a chance to travel on the famous Corkscrew Railway, considered one of the most scenic rail journeys in the world.

The oldest of the Scandinavian capital cities, Oslo has a laid-back atmosphere with attractive architecture, spacious streets and picturesque squares. The city's collection of world-class museums, reflecting the nation's colourful history, can keep you busy for days. As for restaurants, bars and cafes, you'll be spoilt for choice.

After sampling Oslo's energetic atmosphere, unwind and relax on the Bergen Railway, considered to be one of the most exciting and beautiful train journeys in the world over the 'Roof of Norway'. In Myrdal change to the Flamsbana Corkscrew Railway which twists and turns along a spectacular 20km track from 865m above sea level down to Flam by the shores of Aurlandsfjord. Spend two nights here and enjoy exploring this stunning area.

Return on the Flamsbana to Myrdal and continue to Bergen, a beautiful Hanseatic town. Explore the city, take the funicular to Mount Floyen and try hiking along some of the town's seven surrounding hills.
