What an experience.
The ice room stay was fantastic. And actually not as cold as expected. Just need lots of layers during the day. The activities are great. But you have to arrive 15 mins b4 they start so it’s not a restful trip if you have organised lots ! Recommend the husky transfer. Wow what an experience that’s was
Take ski goggles if u have them. Just to keep your face warm where it’s not covered by a balaclava

What an amazing holiday!
My mother and I joined the winter adventure at the Nellim Hotel for 7 nights and signed up to most of the activities. It was really well organised, the guides were great and we had an unforgettable experience. We experienced everything we could have hoped for and more.
We would definitely travel with Discover the World again!

Our trip to Lapland was the most memorable and special of our lives - we all (two adults, a teen and a 7 year old!) - absolutely loved it. The accommodation was wonderful, great staff throughout, lovely food, the excursions were amazing and excellently run. Everything was very easy and really well planned. It felt very easy. I’d go back tomorrow! And I’d recommend the trip and the location to ANYONE.

Tromso was knee deep in snow when we arrived , and in the middle of a snow shower in near darkness at 2.00pm in the afternoon , and every thing was carrying on as normal. it was Wonderfull. The town was trimmed up for Christmas and looked like a Christmas card. Our trip to Malangen was seamless despite ice covered roads and Malangen the resort was breathtaking. Our Husky Experience was as though we were pulled through Narnia by snow wolves. The northern lights gave us a couple of hours of breathtaking displays. All truly amazing . Thankyou

Enjoyable holiday with plenty to see and do.
Definitely advise anyone to break the trip out/back to Australia to allow you to enjoy what other places can offer, and reduce the flight jet lag.

Lovely trip - beautiful scenery, nice hotels and not too far to travel between each location

This was an amazing combination of two, week long holidays. It allowed us to see wonderful scenery and gave us enough time to explore at a relaxed pace. There was a fair bit of driving involved but every mile was spectacular.

The tour of Iceland met expectations and often exceeded them. It is a most interesting country to visit.

Good. Iceland is expensive but I was warned adequately. The itinerary which I followed was realistic and met my requirements.

Things were very good, well organised and a trip of a lifetime. Lovely hotel, staff were most helpful. Trips were good and saw wildlife we had hoped to see, but you never know.

Our week in the West Fjords was everything we had hoped it would be.
We asked for hard copies of bookings and were glad we had.

Flights to and from Stansted worked well, although the return flight was horribly early, and meant that we got no breakfast.

The hire car proved perfect for our needs, and collection and return was straightforward. It might be worth pointing out to others hiring cars in Iceland, that a road tax is now charged, varying with the vehicle. It cost us £66 which wasn’t apparent until the deposit payment was returned, minus that sum. It really wasn’t explained at Europcar. It’s not a lot of money, but it would be worth explaining to travellers.

We got the ferry across Breidafjordur which you had booked. You printed out two copies for passengers and none for the car, but fortunately one of the ferry staff checked our booking reference and sorted it.

The hotels were all comfortable, with good dining arrangements.
For future travellers it’s worth pointing out that we drove to Holmavik to look for the Hotel Laugur Holl, listed on your information as in Holmavik, which it isn’t.
(We didn’t use GPS until we were heading back into Reykjavík on Sunday)

The service from Discover the World was excellent. Their staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The car selected was comfortable and the right size for the family and luggage without being too big. The hotels selected were in good locations for access to walks and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed staying in the Rorbuer fishermen's' huts. They were located on the waters edge, superb views and excellent breakfasts

Discover the World go out of their way to make sure all goes to plan. Flights, hotels and all taxis etc worked smoothly. If a problem does occur then they can be contacted and everything is resolved.

We enjoed the voyage very much the ship like a dream and all sevice on board very good
Food was good and plenty and the service in the restaurand very relaxed and friendly
What I found very good was that there was silence and not loud music everywere like seems to be the fashion today

Eric at Discover the World patiently tailored the Scandinavian Capitals trip to our requirements and budget. We had an amazing holiday in Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen - totally independent but with the security of the travel arrangements and hotels being arranged for us.
We would 100% recommend this company.

The tour was well organized and well planned. I would have preferred an additional week and more personal input regarding the hotels but other than that the trip was wonderful and I will keep it in memory.
In regard to the purchase of the tickets and the method I would describe it as disconcerting. There was little communication about the tour entailed. We had already invested in an Eurail pass. We were forced to pay twice.
The itinerary was difficult to read and we had no discretion regarding how long we could stay in any one place.
