From a young age travel has been a passion for me ever since I stood at the airport as a child with my hands pressed against the glass looking at the giant jet that was to carry me across the globe.
I love to immerse myself in the destination and culture, from the people, the food and local traditions. So far, I’ve been lucky enough to visit 45 countries over 6 continents with many more on my bucket list.
Stand out destinations for me are Iceland for its varied landscapes and chances to see the northern lights, Greenland where I was amazed by a sunset over the Ice Fjord cruise in Ilulissat and Norway for the amazing scenery, autumn colours and varied activities.
One of my most recent trips, which took me to the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands will always stand out as I remember feeling so humbled to be walking beside king penguins and fur seals in their natural habitat.
