Travel, experiencing different cultures, and the natural environment have always been a passion of mine. Before studying Geography at university, I headed off to Southeast Asia and South America for a year, working and exploring along the way. My degree and early travel experiences only enhanced my love for adventure and led me into a career in the travel industry.

Throughout my career, I’ve been lucky enough to go on countless rail journeys through Europe, including France, Switzerland, Italy, Scandinavia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Romania and many more! A real highlight for me was a trip to Arctic Norway and Sweden, where I travelled on the Ofoten Line between Narvik and Kiruna, easily one of the most scenic rail journeys I’ve ever done (and I’ve done a few in my time!).

I love spending my time in the Arctic regions and have been lucky enough to witness the northern lights in Finland, Norway and Sweden!

When I’m not working, I spend a lot of time planning and booking my own trips, from wildlife watching in Kruger National Park in South Africa to long-distance hiking in Albania’s Accursed Mountains. My all-time favourite trip has to be be a food-focused rail journey through Spain.

I love setting off on my own adventures and continuing to build my knowledge, which I can then pass on to help my customers plan their own trips.
