Tromso Cable Car

The Cable Car´s lower station is located in Solliveien in Tromsdalen where the gondola takes you up to the mountain ledge Storsteinen 421 m above sea level. The ride to the upper station takes about four minutes. The station has two gondolas, known as Seal and Polar Bear. Each has a capacity of 28 passengers. From the viewing platform at the upper station, you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding islands. At the upper station, there is Fjellstua restaurant where you can enjoy a meal with a view.

The gondola travels up and down the mountain every full & half hour. You can decide for yourself how long you want to be on the mountain within the opening hours.
