Overview

With guaranteed snow into spring, enjoy a late season ski adventure in Scandinavia. Milder temperatures and daylight extending over 12 hours combine with plenty of fresh snow to cover the well-groomed pistes. This time of the season is ideally suited to those new to skiing or perhaps those looking to squeeze in the last runs of the season, while the quiet slopes and virtually non-existent lift queues that Scandinavia is renowned for, add even more to the appeal.

Choose between resorts in Norway or Sweden and enjoy the convenience of direct flights from London. In addition, exclusive ski schools designed by skiScandinavia offer stress-free family skiing.

Trysil, Norway

A great base for families, groups of friends, couples, and single travellers, Trysil offers great skiing, both downhill and cross-country. There is a wide range of additional activities from bowling to husky sledding or relaxing in the spa. Tuition at Trysil is top notch with English speaking ski instructors who are friendly and professional. Tailored to families, complimentary childcare is also included.

Kläppen, Sweden

Family owned Kläppen resort is smaller than Tryril and is surrounded by the birch forests of the Sälen mountain range. More suited to beginners and intermediate skiers, the relaxed atmosphere is great for families and the village centre is welcoming and easy to get around. Exclusive ski schools are designed to fit your family and complimentary childcare is also included.

Getting there

Direct flights from the UK to Scandinavian Mountains Airport take just 2.5 hours and serve both resorts. Short transfers of around 40-45 minutes are included in your holiday.

Accommodation Options

Conveniently most of the accommodation at Trysil is ski-in/ski-out and includes luxury catered chalets, family friendly hotel suites and modern self-catered apartments.

In Sweden, modern, high-quality accommodation is in Kläppen village and is ski-in ski-out. Choose between 2 and 3-bedroom apartments complete with self-catering facilities, and there is a restaurant on site.
