Take in a wealth of scenic wonders from Auckland to the Fiordland including Rotorua, Tongariro, the West Coast glaciers and iconic Mount Cook over three fabulous weeks.

With recommended 2-night stays in the Coromandel, Lake Wanaka, Te Anau and Mt Cook, visit geothermal Rotorua, dual World Heritage Listed Tongariro, magnificent Fiordland National Park and alpine Mt Cook. With plenty of opportunities for hiking and adventure, discover the natural wonders of NZ.

Designed so that you can be completely self-sufficient and thereby reduce your day to day living costs, this itinerary is especially suited to the independent traveller. Offering ultimate flexibility, you have the choice of following our suggested itinerary and pre-booking your overnight campsite stops or to book your motorhome rental only and vary the itinerary as you travel.

We recommend pre-booking campsites during peak season in New Zealand, from mid-November to late February. The itinerary can also be done in reverse, starting in Christchurch and ending in Auckland.
