Overlooking the Kwando River, Lianshulu Lodge is situated on a private concession inside Mudumu National Park.
This stylish property features a total of 11 guest chalets, each with private bathroom and secluded, outside viewing deck. Sumptuous meals are prepared by a professional chef and are served at elegantly set tables underneath a wild fig tree. The airy, thatched dining, lounge and bar areas open onto spacious, split-level and raised wooden decks, affording sweeping views over the Lianshulu lagoon and its verdant flood plains. Wildlife can be comfortably observed from these vantage points. Two romantic fireplaces, a comprehensive library, African curio shop and secluded swimming pool enhance the perfect safari experience.
Lianshulu Lodge is surrounded by a lush wilderness of riverine forest, marsh and open woodland, providing a home for an abundance of wildlife. During your stay you may spot elephants, buffalo, hippo, lion, leopard, zebra, giraffe and various antelope species including roan and sable.
Activities are included for those staying on a full-board basis, or can be arranged at additional cost for those on a half-board basis. Options include early morning and afternoon game drives into Mudumu National Park, guided walks from the lodge and catch-and-release fishing trips. Boat cruises on the Kwando River take place morning and afternoon, offering excellent birdwatching and game viewing opportunities.
