Where is Scandinavia?
Norway, Sweden and Denmark make up Scandinavia. These three countries are closely linked by history, culture and language. By definition, Finland isn’t a Scandinavian country, but it is still has much in common to its geographic neighbours through a colourful history, vibrant culture, and most of all, the people. It also shares a physical border with Sweden and Norway in the north of the country.
Also outside the pure Scandi set is Iceland, though it too is culturally connected sharing a Norse heritage and is part of the broader Nordic region.
