Canada & Alaska Travel Specialist

Tel: 01737 886 592

Sarah has worked within the travel industry for four years. Working for several adventure travel operators in sales, her passion for the outdoors
has led her to some amazing destinations, her highlights include New Zealand, Iceland, South Africa, Nepal, and Antarctica. Most recently she has returned from spending a year working in the Canadian Rockies, learning to mush and travelling to the far north of the Yukon, North West Territories and Alaska.

My favourite place - it has to be the Yukon, Canada. I was lucky enough to spend a summer season here. With only 0.1 persons per square kilometre, you truly are out in the Canadian wilderness.
Explore and hike amongst mountains and glaciers of Kluane National park, home to the biggest mountain of them all, Mount Logan – You can soak up of the history of Dawson City, the town is perfectly preserved from the 19th century. It is like stepping right back into the gold rush era. Cross over to the temperate rainforests of South East Alaska, where I had abundant grizzly bear viewings along the Chilkoot River.

Sarah C's Top Travel Experiences

  • Driving my dog sled team and seeing the northern lights in Yellowknife, NWT
  • Hiking to Everest Base Camp in the Himalayas
  • Completing the Chilkoot Trail in Alaska, camping and waking up at dawn to see the grizzly bears
  • Watching leopard seals swim beside my zodiac in Antarctica.
