Introduction
Perched on a 13-acre peninsula at the edge of beautiful Emerald Lake, this cosy lodge boasts a world-class location surrounded by mountains in the heart of the Canadian Rockies’ Yoho National Park.
Emerald Lake Lodge exudes warmth and tradition, with its century-old stone fireplaces and an oak bar salvaged from an 1890’s Yukon saloon. Built of hand-hewn timber, the lodge includes an elegant dining room, quiet reading and sitting rooms, and a games room. The property features 85 simple guest rooms within 24 rustic-style cabins, surrounding the main lodge and dotted along the lake shore. Each room has a private balcony, bathroom and a wood burning fieldstone fireplace, stocked daily with complimentary firewood.
Emerald Lake is located just 25 minutes west of Lake Louise and provides a spectacular base from which to explore the surrounding national parks. The lodge is surrounded by pristine wilderness, where tumbling creeks, dazzling green lakes and soaring peaks combine to make the perfect outdoor playground. Take to the water in a canoe or kayak, set out on the region’s numerous hiking trails, or retreat to your balcony to soak up the pure alpine air and spectacular views.
